ETHICS IN ASTROLOGY

Ethics means beliefs about what is right and wrong in human behaviour and what is morally correct or acceptable? Astrology is also a belief.          I am not encouraging anybody to have his horoscope cast - unless his confidence in astrology who is to cast it is such that he would trust him with his honour and money. Let us get this straight from the start: astrology is not prophecy. It is dealing not with the certainties, but with tendencies. It has a fairly wide margin for error but it works.

        We have to build confidence among the believers of astrology and it is obvious if we prescribe the correct remedies for their specific problems then only the better results may come out. It is better to do the right remedy than the wrong one. I have seen in old astrology books that very less remedies are prescribed, but unfortunately some astrologers without any deep knowledge suggests unethically and this is the main cause among the publics unrest about the astrologers.
